    Barra The Kingfisher was at Morghan this afternoon, our first sighting of it since February 13th when it was at Craigston. The 2 Velvet Scoters were still east of Vatersay causeway.

    Barra 2 Chiffchaffs at Cuithir, a Woodcock at Morghan, 2 Rooks and a Jackdaw still at Scurrival and another Rook over Castlebay and 3 Pink-footed Geese at Eoligarry. Vatersay 14 Fieldfares by the township and 2 Velvet Scoter still east of the causeway.

    Barra A Chiffchaff was new in at Cuithir, a Common Redpoll was at Brevig and a flock of 54 Whooper Swans flew north over the island late morning. Barra's first Chiffchaff of the year.

    Barra Single very confiding Snow Bunting on the beach at Eoligarry. 7 Slavonian Grebes offshore there and 3 Pink-footed Geese and 11 Pale-bellied Brent Geese in the area. 2 Whooper Swans flying high north were our first migrants of the season. 2 Velvet Scoters remained east of Vatersay causeway.
