On Barra, the hawfinch, present for its 3rd day, showed well on and off through the day around the bushes on the east side of the football pitch. This is the 7th individual on the island since October. The coal tit was in the same area briefly; this bird moves between here and gardens at Nask. At Ardveenish 2 juvenile Iceland gulls were still present. A woodcock and woodpigeon were at Creachan. Numbers of meadow pipits, redwings and skylarks were higher than previous days.
