Loch an Duin, Aird, Isle of Lewis
A *Snow Goose* was feeding there with a group of Greylags early afternoon

Balranald, North Uist
A ***Todd's Canada Goose*** and 27 Lapwings were there this morning

Lochboisedale, South Uist
An Iceland Gull was in the harbour area this afternoon

Askernish, South Uist
A Chiffchaff and a pair of Siskin were visiting a garden there

South Glendale, South Uist
A Siskin was in a garden there and 54 White-fronted Geese flew north just before midday

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:00-09:55
Weather: Wind ESE f2, bright and sunny. Temp 2 - 6c.

A three hour seawatch this morning produced 299 Barnacle Geese (N), 2 Eider (S), 6 Long-tailed Duck (N), 2 Red-breasted Mergansers (S), 1 Red-throated Diver (S), 1 Great Northern Diver (N), 49 Gannets (23S 26N), 1 Shag (S), 2 Cormorants (N), 14 Puffin (S) and 6 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 13, Mute Swan 3, Shelduck 4, Shoveler 3, Gadwall 2, Wigeon 44, Teal 3, Tufted Duck 12, Eider 4, Long-tailed Duck 3, Red-breasted Merganser 1, Great Northern Diver 5, Shag 2, Cormorant 33, Bar-tailed Godwit 7, Black-tailed Godwit 2, Purple Sandpiper 7, Skylark 2, Sand Martin 5, Wheatear 2, Pied Wagtail 2, Meadow Pipit 4, Twite 33 and Linnet 1
48 Black-tailed Godwits were nearby on Bornish machair.

chiffchaff in my Bornish garden today probably different from the one before the cold spell. Many fewer redwings this evening roosting in the garden c150 was c500 yesterday and the wood pigeon was still there.

Chiffchaff in the garden here too Andrew, early morning then not seen for the rest of the day. We nipped over the fence to see the Siskins in Bills garden :)
