A 3W Glaucaus Gull was just beyond the whaling station this morning

Counting period: 08:44 - 10:55
Weather: Wind SSE fF7 gusting F9. 8/8 low cloud, dull and murky out to sea. Rain from about 10:am. Temp 4C.

A 2+ hour seawatch this morning produced 37 Eider (S), 1 Common Scoter (S), 9 Long-tailed Dicks (6S 3N), 19 Red-throated Divers (S), 13 Great Northern Divers (S), 2 Gannets (1S [juvenile], 1N [adult]), 8 Shag (N), 1 Black Guillemot (S) and 1 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 29, Wigeon 35, Tufted Duck 13, Cormorant 13 and Purple Sandpiper 2
