Ness, Isle of Lewis
A minimum of 500 Pink-footed Geese flew north this morning. 37 Black-tailed Godwits arrived onFivepenny machair yesterday evening and departed early morning.

Carinish, North Uist
A Chiffchaff was singing this morning and a Swallow and Water Rail were also present. A Whimbrel, a 2 Little Tern, 5 Arctic Terns, 2 Common Terns, a Pink-footed Goose and 25 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were seen later on North Ford and a Willow Warbler was also singing in the township

Carnan, South Uist
A Wood Pigeon was there this morning

Morghan, Barra
A Common Sandpiper was there today

News from Andrew:-

16 April– Walk at Ardvule/Bornish machair this morning 3 whimbrel, 6 white wagtails, 2 sand martins, 1 swallow, c100 blackwits & pairr pintail on machair floods, c60 brents on the shore at Ardvule.
2 willow warblers in my garden (1 back since 10th)

15 April– c40 blackwit & 3 pintail (M & 2FF) on Bornish machair floods 72 brent geese west over Bornish Loch having apparently crossed South Uist via Loch Eynort to the east.

14 April – c60 blackwits at Coot Loch. 1 common tern off the Creagorry Coop car park.
