Circa 50 Common Scoters and 2 Velvet Scoters were reported today

16 Black-tailed Godwits were on the cut fields this morning

Weather: Wind S-SSE f5-6 gust f7. 8/8 cloud, persistent rain, misty at sea. Temp 14C.
A 3+ hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Red-throated Divers (S), 5 Storm Petrels (S), 12 Fulmars (11S 1N), 2 Manx Shearwaters (S), 88 Gannets (83S 5N), 2 Cormorants (N), 16 Whimbrel (S), 1 Kittiwake (S) and 1 Great Skua (S).
Also present in the area were Red-throated Diver 1, Lapwing 3, Curlew 6, Turnstone 2, Knot 1, Dunlin 24, Great Black-backed Gull 10, Herring Gull 103, Raven 1, Pied Wagtail 1 and Meadow Pipit 6

A single Ruff was nearby on Bornish machair
