16 Lapland Buntings were there today

The juvenile ***Semipalmated Sandpiper*** was again seen on the beach

Barvas, Isle of Lewis
Circa 70 Pink-footed Geese flew over Barvas in two skiens this afternoon

Loch Sandary, North Uist
Two Ruff were there today

Baleshare, North Uist
At least one *Buff-breasted Sandpiper* was seen amongst Golden Plover south of the picnic area at 1715. Two Lapland Bunting were also seen on the island.

Carinish, North Uist
A Lapland Bunting was seen there today

Iochar, South Uist
2 Curlew Sandpipers were seen near Hebridean Jewellery this morning. Three were again present in the evening

Balgarva, South Uist
Two Slavonian Grebes were offshore in the evening

Howmore, South Uist
A Turtle Dove was visiting a garden there at dusk. A Lapland Bunting was at the River mouth

Kildonan, South Uist
An Osprey flew over late afternoon and continued south. Two Common Terns were on the beach

Kilpheder, South Uist
Two Lapland Buntings and 24 Black-tailed Godwits were there today

Sound of Barra
135 Pink-footed Geese were seen flying south this morning

Always Birding
Two Curlew Sandpipers were still by the road early afternoon in amongst several Dunlin just south of Hebridean Jewellery. 10 Black-tailed Godwits were at Stoneybridge and a further 7 and 3 Ruff were on Askernish machair late afternoon.

3 Lapland Bunting at Balranald on the track out to the point between 7.30 and 8.00 on the morning of the 16th. Also a Red Throated Diver south . 2 Hen Harriers on the reserve, a juvenile male and a juvenile female. The 2 Whooper Swans still on the Loch ( Sorry for the delay - had problems with my phone comms.)
