Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 17th January 2020. Updated throughout the day

Rubh' Arnal, North Uist
3+ Glaucous Gulls (2 juveniles and 2nd winter) were there this afternoon

Baleshare, North Uist
At least 4 Glaucous Gulls were seen there early afternoon

Clachan, South Uist
The drake *Green-winged Teal* was at the north end of Loch Bee again this morning

On Barra 2 juvenile Glaucous Gulls flew south within 15 minutes of each other at Traigh Eais this afternoon. Nearby 11 Pale-bellied Brents were at Traigh Mhor and the Ring-necked Duck was still on Loch Tangasdale.
