Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 19th April 2020. Updated throughout the day

Carinish, North Uist
A Goldcrest and 2 Pink-footed Geese were seen there today. 5 Greenland Wheater, 5 Long-tailed Duck, 1 Arctic Tern, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Whimbrel and 2 Little Terns were seen there and on North Ford

Loch Fada, Benbecula
A Little Egret was there today and 13 Black-tailed Godwits were nearby at Loch Mor

Carnan, South Uist
A male Brambling was seen in a garden there

Brevig, Barra.
My first Cuckoo of the year was singing behind our house this morning and woke me up before the alarm! A Whimbrel was present by the jetty first thing and the Hawfinch remained for its 3rd day, traumatising the Goldfinches when ever it appeared.
