A ***Long-billed Dowitcher*** was heard calling while flying east. A Turtle Dove was also seen on the machair

Loch Paible, North Uist
The ***Baird's Sandpiper*** was still present this morning and again late afternoon along with two Little Stints along the south side of the loch

Eochar, South Uist
18 pale-bellied Brent Geese were on the mudflats opposite Hebridean Jewellery this evening before

West Gerinish, South Uist
A juvenile ***Long-billed Dowitcher*** was seen in the south-west corner of Loch Bee this morning. Four little Stints were also present, increasing to nine in the afternoon

Howmore, South Uist
A ***Baird's Sandpiper*** was seen west of the bridge before flying towards the beach

Stoneybridge, South Uist
32 Pale-belied Brent Geese wereseen there today

Bornish, South Uist
Two *Buff-breasted Sandpiper* a Pectoral Sandpiper were seen on the machair

Weather: Wind S veering SW f3, drizzle and 8/8 cloud at first. Clearing with sunshine all day. Temp 13 - 15c

A near 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 49 Pale-bellied Brent Geese (S), 1 Tufted Duck (S), 5 Scaup (S), 1 Eider (S), 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 26 Red-throated Divers (S), 5 Great Northern Divers (S), 1 Storm Petrel (S), 564 Gannets (562S 2N), 16 Shag (19S 6N), 3 Cormorants (N), 8 Kittwakes (S), 11 Lesser Black-backed Gull (S), 1 Guillemot (S), 20 razorbills (S), 9 auk sp (S) and 12 Skylark (S).
Also present in the area were Red-throated Diver 2, Raven 3, Skylark 6, Wheatear 1, Meadow Pipit 15 and Rock Pipit 1
