An adult glaucous gull was on Vatersay this afternoon; this was a particularly feisty bird, driving off a couple of great black-backs in order to claim a putrid dead seal for itself! The juv glaucous gull was still on Traigh Mhor along with 31 brent geese and 16 snow buntings. Another immature glauc flew south past Brevig.
