There were at least 10 Storm Petrels lingering off Leanish, Barra this morning in calm, flat conditions. 4 of these were feeding over a Basking Shark! Of interest, also 2 Orcas, a Minke Whale, 3 Porpoise and around 30 Common Dolphins were in the same area. Coincidentally there were large numbers of Storm Petrels feeding off of here on the same date last year in similar conditions.
