Outer Hebrides / Western Isles bird sightings for today, 20th December 2018. Updated throughout the day

Eoligarry, Barra
The *White-billed Diver* was seen off the jetty this morning along with 5 Slavonian Grebes

Borve, Barra
The small Canada Goose was again on the machair today

Balranald, North Uist:
The Cackling Goose and small Canada Goose were there this afternoon. 13 Pintail were nearby on Loch nam Feithean.

Loch Sandary, North Uist
The drake *Green-winged Teal* was again on the loch

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:45 - 10:50
Weather: Wind S F2-3, 8/8 cloud, some rain. Temp6.5C

A 2 hour seawatch this morning produced 15 Eider (S), 6 Long-tailed Duck (S), 5 Red-throated Divers (S), 1 Great Northern Diver (S), 11 Gannets (10S 1N), 47 Shag (3S 44N), 2 Cormorants (S) and 5 Kittiwakes (S).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 54, Teal 12, Tufted Duck 8, Red-throated Diver 2, Great Northern Diver 4 and Cormorant 6
A Pink-footed Goose was nearby at Loch Bornish.
