Outer Hebrides / Western Isles bird sightings for today, 22nd July 2018. Updated throughout the day

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 07:05 - 10:10
Weather: Wind WSW F4, 8/8 cloud, very dull with misty spells. Temp 14.5C.
A three hour seawatch this morning produced 3 Tufted Ducks (S), 1 Storm Petrel (S), 11 Manx Shearwaters (S), 69 Gannets (57S 12N), 2 Cormorants (S), 1 *Mediterranean Gull* (S), 1 Razorbill (S), 5 Puffins (S) and 7 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Shoveler 3, Eider 35, Red-breasted Merganser 1, Hen Harrier 1, Curlew 2, Bar-tailed Godwit 4, Knot 1, Great Black-backed Gull 8, Arctic Tern 20, Rock Dove 3, Raven 5 and Pied Wagtail 7
