A single Pintail was seen there today

6 Pink-footed Geese where there this afternoon

Smerclate, South Uist
17 Whooper Swans flew north while another 34 were on Loch na Liana Moire, Frobost

South Glendale, South Uist
The Great Tit was again in a garden there

Weather: Wind SSW veering SW then WSW F8-9 gust F10,gradually easing to F6. Initially 8/8 cloud, some rain becoming bright and sunny. Temp 9C.

A near 4 hour seawatch this morning in blustery conditions produced 1 Pale-bellied Brent Goose (S), 13 Eider (7S 6N), 30 Long-tailed Ducks (29S 1N), 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 7 Red-throated Divers (S), 1 Great Northern Diver (S), 48 Fulmars (S), 1 Manx Shearwater (S), 142 Gannets (130S 12N), 5 Shag (N), 38 Kittiwakes (S), 664 Razorbills (S), 3 Black Guillemots (S) and 62 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Shoveler 1, Wigeon 33, Teal 4, Tufted Duck 6, Red-breasted Merganser 7, Red-throated Diver 1, Great Northern Diver 3, Cormorant 14, Black-headed Gull 5, Common Gull 87, Great Black-backed Gull 9, Lesser Black-backed Gull 1 and Hooded Crow 2
