Outer Hebrides / Western Isles bird sightings for today, 23rd October 2018. Updated throughout the day

Crulivig, Isle of Lewis
2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Pied Flycatcher were there early afternoon.

Carinish, North Uist
A Jack Snipe was seen there this afternoon.

Liniclate, Benbecula
The juvenile *American Golden Plover* was again there today near the Torlum turning.

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 07:50 - 10:20
Weather: Wind W F6-7, 8/8 cloud, very dull and murky out to sea, light rain. Temp 11.3C.

A 2+ hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Eider (S), 1 Long-tailed Duck (S), 2 Red-throated Divers (S), 1 Black-throated Diver (S), 9 Great Northern Divers (S), 6 Gannets (S), 2 Shag (N), 3 Kittiwakes (S) and 1 Common Gull (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 85, Tufted Duck 3, Cormorant 12, Golden Plover 1, Ringed Plover 22, Curlew 7, Bar-tailed Godwit 1, Snipe 6 and Rock Pipit 1
