The following flew S: 9 Eider; 6 Long-tailed Duck; 2 Red-breasted Mergansers; 15 Red-throated Divers; 2 Great Northern Divers, 16 Gannets; 5 Shags; a Corrmorant ; 4 Razorbills; and two Razorbills/Guillemots.
And N: 13 Gannets; 28 Shags; 6 Bar-tailed Godwits; a Kittiwake; and a single Razorbill/Guillemot.
Also present were 16 Greylag Geese; 13 Wigeon; 7 Tufted Duck; a Goldeneye; a Great Northern Diver; and 21 Cormorants.
There were no dead birds on Baleshare beach, North Uist (Lag Gorm section) this morning during RSPB Beached Bird Survey. Nine Whooper Swans came in and flew E, an adult White-tailed Eagle was on the saltings and five Glaucous Gulls were seen (three coasted S). An Iceland Gull came over nearby Loch na Paisg.
