Oban Trumisgarry, North Uist
A female *American Wigeon* was reported today.

Berneray
1,500+ Barnacle Geese and 4 Pink-footed Geese were seen there today

Lochmaddy, North Uist
3 Siskins were there today

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
A seawatch today between 07:05 - 11:05
Weather: Wind W F6, 8/8 cloud, dull and murky, light drizzle. Temp 10C

A 4 hour seawatch this morning produced 18 Barnacle Goose (S), 8 Gannets (S), 2 Eider (S), 8 Shag (N), 4 Long-tailed Duck (S), 10 Kittiwake (S), 2 Red-throated Diver (1S 1N), 4 Common Gulls (S), 16 Great Northern Divers (S), 2 auk sp (S) and 10 Leach's Petrels (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 120, Teal 8, Tufted Duck 3, Red-breasted Merganser 2, Cormorant 22, Snipe 23 and Merlin 1. 25 Black-tailed Godwits were nearby on Bornish machair.

Continuing westerly gale and most birds trying to find and stay in shelter!

Butt of Lewis
Sooty Shearwater – 1 E-W past the lighthouse (0930)
Snow Bunting – 3 still around the lighthouse, mostly inside the compound

Fivepenny
Whooper Swan - 8 adults present on the marsh by the road for most of the day; 2 juvs on Loch Stiapabhat
