On Barra, 70 brent geese were new in at Traigh Mhor. 2 juvenile Iceland gulls were among a small number of gulls at Ardveenish. The adult Iceland gull was still by Vatersay causeway. There were several small flocks of golden plovers around the island today, perhaps a sign of a cold weather movement. Yesterday 2 woodpigeons were at Creachan and a tight flock of c60 skylarks were around Vatersay township.
