Coot Loch, Benbecula
The drake *Ring-necked Duck* is still to be found on the loch, seen displaying to a female Tufted Duck today

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Weather: Wind varying WSW-WNW-W F2-3, 8/8 cloud. Temp 4.3C - 5.6C.
A 2.5 hour seawatch this morning produced 36 Eider (27S 9N), 5 Long-tailed Duck (S), 3 Red-breasted Mergansers (S), 4 Fulmar (S), 39 Gannets (3S 26N), 75 Shag (3S 72N), 3 Cormorants (1S 2N), 17 Bar-tailed Godwits (N), 25 Kittiwakes (18S 7N) and 3 Razorbills.
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 6, Wigeon 49, Teal 2, Tufted Duck 3, Red-breasted Merganser 5, Great Northern Diver 3, Shag 19, Cormorant 13, Sanderling 93, Purple Sandpiper 3, Black-headed Gull 10, Hooded Crow 2, Raven 2, Pied Wagtail 1 and Meadow Pipit 2
