At least 200 pink-footed geese flew high north-west over Barra this morning. The white-billed diver was again off Eoligarry jetty late afternoon and a snow bunting was on the beach there. An adult and 2 juv Iceland gulls were at Ardveenish. A scan from Ardmhor ferry terminal produced 14 slavonian grebes, mostly in summer plumage. A woodcock was at Ardmhor plantation.

Nothing a fraction as exciting as the St Kilda bird but there are definitely two ♂ Green-winged Teals on North Uist - both together on Loch a' Roe (Aird an Runair) this morning. I only assumed there was one and it wasn't until I downloaded photos to the computer I found I had taken one of both together.

Ness news from tony Marr:-
There were two *White-billed Divers* off the harbour at Skigersta this evening. One was in non-breeding plumage, like the two seen in recent days. The other was an adult in semi-breeding plumage, with a smudgy black head and well patterned white chequers on the upper parts. Three different birds then, in the last four days.
