The female ***Snowy Owl*** was seen in the village this afternoon
Hosta, North Uist
Circa 20 Black-tailed Godwits were seen there today
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 07:10 - 09:35
Weather: Wind S f6-7, 8/8 cloud, temp 16C.
A 2+ hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Eider (N), 2 Red-throated Divers (1S 1N), 1 Great Northern Diver (S), 2 Fulmars (S), 17 Manx Shearwaters (S), 199 Gannets (192S 7N), 9 Shag (7S 2N), 1 Whimbrel (S), 2 Kittiwakes (1S 1N), 2 Razorbills (S) and 2 Black Guillemots (S).
Also in the area were Greylag Goose 128, Common Buzzard 1, Great Black-backed Gull 18, Peregrine 1, White Wagtail 2, Pied Wagtail 4 and Meadow Pipit 4
