Found a Pied Wagtail and a single Pink-footed Goose here at Askernish which brings the patch species tally to 63 for the year. 10 Whooper Swans and 12 Greenland White-fronts were on or around Loch Hallan and a 1st winter Glaucous Gull was drifting along the beach. A further 8 Whooper Swans were at Frobost

Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 31st January 2020. Updated throughout the day.

Tiumpan Head, Isle of Lewis
There were at least 3 adult Iceland Gulls and an immature Glaucous Gull at roost this morning. Another possible additional adult Iceland Gull was seen at sea.
