25 Whimbrel were seen there this morning

Two Common Redpolls were again visiting a garden there

Stoneybridge, South Uist
20 Whimbrel were there late afternoon

North Locheynort, South Uist
A male Blackcap and Chiffchaff were heard singing there today

Weather: Wind NNE backing N f3 and increasing f4-5. Mostly sunny with occasional shower. Temp 2 - 4c.

A 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 3 Red-throated Divers (N), 12 Fulmars (N), 99 Gannets (36S 63N), 1 Shag (S), 5 Cormorants (2S 3N), 78 Kittiwakes (N), 21 Arctic Terns (N), 1 Great Skua (S), 1 Guillemot (N), 7 Razorbills (N), 10 Puffin (N) and 82 auk sp (3S 79N).
Also present in the area were Pale-bellied Brent Goose 1, Greylag Goose 5, Shoveler 1, Tufted Duck 9, Eider 13, Great Northern Diver 8, Cormorant 22, Whimbrel 8, Little Tern 2, Arctic Tern 15, Wheatear 2 and Meadow Pipit 6
