Borve, Berneray
Snow Buntings were reported on the machair today. A single Pink-footed Goose and 14 Common Scoters were also reported off the west side of the island.

The Rook flew over the township late this afternoon

Drake American Wigeon on Bornish loch, also female pintail there. 12 snow buntings Peninerine. 4 barnacle geese Ormiclate.
c130 Greenland White-fronted Geese on west side of Loch Bee, 2FF/imm scaup and 1 Slave grebe in SW corner
c50 barnacle geese Ardivachar. 5 slavonian grebes off Balgarva.

6 Jan
f/imm velvet scoter off Balivanich with 2 Slav grebes. 4 Greenland white-fronts at Nunton; drake Ring-necked Duck, pr of pintail & 4 coots on Coot Loch.
14 gadwall and 16 shoveler in total between Coot Loch & Loch Fada.
