Some species seen in the Lag Gorm/Traigh Leathann area, North Uist today were three Great Northen Divers (two in the channel between the N end of Lag Gorm and Kirkibost Island, the other fairly recently dead - minus head - on the shingle), a Jack Snipe flushed from the saltings (as usual came down quickly but attempts to get a photo failed as on the second occasion flushed flew up high and departed to the SE) and three quite flighty Snow Buntings on the beach.
