I visited Vatersay this morning hoping to find a Rosy Starling or two, however I had to be content with a brief Common Rosefinch between the Post Office and cemetery instead! Back on Barra a Pied Flycatcher was in the gnome garden at Glen. Yesterdays Garden Warbler at Northbay had moved a couple of hundred metres and was singing in dense birch scrub. A Spotted Flycatcher was still at Creachan.
