The ***Brown Shrike*** was again seen along the Cross Skigersta Road

Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
At least one Hawfinch is still visiting a garden there

Sound of Taransay, Isle of Harris
A drake Surf Scoter was in amongst 280 Common Scoter A Yellow-browed Warbler was nearby at Luskentyre while a Chiffchaff and Fieldfare were at Horgabost

Leverburgh, Isle of Harris
Seven Crossbills were seen flying east

Counting period: 08:15-10:15
Weather: Wind SSE f5-6, dull 8/8 cloud. Rain by end of watch. Temp 13C [A poor wind direction for much activity]

A two hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Eider (N), 4 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 8 Red-throated Divers (7S 1N), 12 Gannets (S), 12 Shag (2S 10N), 2 Cormorants (S), and 4 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 13, Wigeon 9, Teal 4, Tufted Duck 20, Red-throated Diver 1, Cormorant 12 and Purple Sandpiper 3

Little in the way of new arrivals today, but a Siberian Chiffchaff, Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap were by the football pitch at Castlebay, a Grey Wagtail was at Brevig and 3 Woodcock were seen around the island.
