A 2CY Glaucious Gull was seen on the shore today

An hours seawatch this evening between 1800 - 1900 produced two flocks of Brent Geese [c65 and 24], 8 Wigeon, 1 Bonxie and 1 Greenshank.

Counting period: 06:40 - 10:25
Weather: Wind W-WSW F6 gust f7, 8/8 cloud, dull with a couple of light showers. Temp 12.5C.

A near 4 hour seawatch this morning produced 7 Eider (S), 5 Red-throated Divers (S), 14 Great Northern Divers (S), 3 Leach's Petrels (S), 21 Fulmars (S), 5 Sooty Shearwaters (S), 154 Manx Shearwaters (152S 2N), 377 Gannets (374S 3N), 2 Shag (S), 1 Cormorant (S), 1 Bar-tailed Godwit (S), 3 Knot (S), 2 Purple Sandpipers (S), 2 Redshank (S), 4 Kittiwakes (S), 1 Arctic Tern (S), 3 Great Skuas (S), 2 Arctic Skuas (S), 14 Razorbills (S), 2 Black Guillemots (S) and 4 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Bar-tailed Godwit 8, Great Black-backed Gull 36, Lesser Black-backed Gull 2, Peregrine 1, Pied Wagtail 2 and Meadow Pipit 6

A juvenile Ruff was on the machair at Kildonan and 40 Black-tailed Godwits were at Bornish early afternoon

The Med Gull was again roosting at Traigh Mhor during this mornings high tide. 2 Pintail flew north past Tangasdale this evening.
