Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 14th April 2022. Updated rhroughout the day

Barvas, Isle of Lewis
A female Blackcap was near the township early this morning.

Tiumpan Loch, Isle of Lewis
The drake *Ring-necked Duck* was still on the loch today as was the summer plumage Slavonian Grebe.

Loch Bee, South Uist
The female ***Lesser Scaup***and the drake *Ring-necked Duck* were both seen to the west of the causeway.

Rubh' Aird-mhicheil, South Uist
An Iceland Gull was still on the small beach near the cemetary.
