A Sooty Shearwater and 2 Great Skuas were seen offshore

Hushinish, Isle of Harris
A Little Auk was found dead on the the beach today

Weather: Wind WNW f5/6. 8/8 cloud, murky with rain. Temp 11c

A 2 hour seawatch this morning produced 11 Long-tailed Ducks (10S 1N), 10 Red-throated Divers (S), 2 Great Northern Divers (S), 19 Gannets (18S 1N), 24 Shag (3S 21N), 2 Cormorants (S), 4 Kittiwakes (S), 12 Great Black-backed Gulls (S), and 2 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 52, Tufted Duck 24, Red-throated Diver 1, Black-tailed Godwit 73, Purple Sandpiper 1, Rock Dove 62, Peregrine 1, and Hooded Crow 5
