Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 18th October 2021. Updated throughout the day.

St. Kilda
The female ***Snowy Owl*** has been seen there again today. A Jack Snipe was also on the island

Loch Stiapabhat, Isle of Lewis
The Little Egret was there again this morning at the east end of the loch

Stinky Bay, Isle of Benbecula
A ***Buff-bellied Pipit*** and a Pectoral Sandpiper were there this morning

Coot Loch, Isle of Benbecula
The *Black-necked Grebe* was still present this morning

Traigh Mhor, Barra
The *American Golden Plover* was only heard in the area today. The Red-breasted Flycatcher was still at North Bay House an there were now two Little Egrets on the island
