Always Birding
Having been really quiet on the patch recently, there were signs of movement today with circa 80 Swallows hawking insects around Askernish early morning and 21 Black-tailed Godwits on the machair. Some 70+ wagtails were on Askernish beach, of which at least 4 were White Wagtails, and 5 White-tailed Eagles were drifting high offshore and were joined by a sixth once they were over land
