The female type Velvet Scoter was again offshore

A 2+ hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Eider (S), 2 Common Scoters (S), 2 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 11 Red-throated Divers (7S 4N), 2 Great Northern Divers (1S 1N), 4 Gannets (S), 71 Shag (66S 5N) and 1 Cormorant (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 14, Wigeon 36, Teal 13, Tufted Duck 12, Long-tailed Duck 7, Red-breasted Merganser 3, Red-throated Diver 4, Great Northern Diver 7, Cormorant 12, Common Buzzard 1, Purple Sandpiper 50, Snipe 1, Raven 2, Skylark 5, Meadow Pipit 1 and Rock Pipit 2
