Hirta, St Kilda
The female ***Snowy Owl*** was seen there again today. Also several Swifts seen hawking around the cliffs

Butt of Lewis
Two Sooty Shearwaters flew WSW this mornoing, the first at 08:45, the second at 10:00. Also seen were 5 Great Skuas and a dark phase Arctic Skua

Stornoway Castle Grounds
Birds seen in and around the castle grounds today included 8 Coal Tits, 4 Blue Tits, 2 Great Tits, 2 Grey Wagtails, 1 Treecreeper 2 Blackcaps (male a newly fledged young), Chiffchaff and 7 Siskin
