Balranald, North Uist
A flock of 500 Twite were seen there today
Loch Sandary, North Uist
The drake *Green-winged Teal* was again seen on the loch. Also a single Pink-footed Goose was nearby
Rubh' Arnal, North Uist
2 adult Glaucous Gulls and 28 Light-bellied Brent Greese where there before being disturbed by a White-tailed Eagle and moving off towards the Monarch Isles
Carinish, North Uist
A Brambling was seen there today
Coot Loch, Benbecula
14 Black-tailed Godwits and a pair of Pintail were on the loch at midday
Bornish, South Uist
102 Whooper Swans were on the flooded machair early afternoon
Daliburgh, South Uist
Whooper Swans again on the move with 100+ flying north early this morning with a further 120+ moving north late afternoon over Askernish
South Glendale, South Uist
The Great Tit is still in a garden there
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:45 - 10:15
Weather: Wind W F2, 7/8 high cloud, misty at distance, sunny spells. Temp 7.4C - 8.3C.
A 1.5 hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Greenland White-fronted Geese (N), 314 Whooper Swans(N), 2 Eider (N), 6 Gannets (3S 3N), 7 Shag (S), 14 Oystercatchers (N) and 1 Razorbill (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 4, Wigeon 24, Tufted Duck 4, Red-breasted Merganser 8, Great Northern Diver 1, Cormorant 13, White-tailed Eagle [juvenile] 1, Common Buzzard 1, Bar-tailed Godwit 11, Black-headed Gull 12, Hooded Crow 2, Raven 4, Pied Wagtail 1 and Meadow Pipit 2
