Loch Stiapavat, Ness, Isle of Lewis
2 Greenland White-fronted Geese were seen with a flock of possibly Icelandic Greylag Geese
Loch na Tiumpan, Isle of Lewis
31 Whooper Swans were on the loch this morning, a high count for this area. There was also a single Slavonian Grebe, A further 6 Whooper Swans and a Mute Swan were nearby at Loch na Duin

The drake *American Wigeon* was still present on Loch an Sticir

58 Greenland White-fronted Geese and 30 Redwing were seen the today

32 Greenland White-fronted Geese arrived from the east 09.45 and landed in the local goose flock.

35 Whooper Swans were on the loch this afternoon

Flocks of 70 and 155 Redwing were seen along the road

Counting period: 07:00 - 11:05
Weather: Wind SSW F6 gust F7, 8/8 cloud, dull and misty at distance. Temp 8.9 - 9.3C.
A 4 hour seawatch the moring produced 2 Barnacle Geese (S), 77 Whooper Swans (N), 4 Eider (N), 4 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 4 Red-breasted Mergansers (N), 4 Red-throated Divers (S), 4 Fulmars (N), 46 Gannets (35S 11N), 14 Shag (2S 12N), 8 Kittiwakes (S), 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull (S) and 77 Razorbills (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 2, Wigeon 5, Red-breasted Merganser 2, Red-throated Diver 1, Great Northern Diver 3, Cormorant, 13, Black-headed Gull 5, Great Black-backed Gull 26, Glaucous Gull 1 [seen around a whale carcase], Raven 3, Skylark and, Meadow Pipit 2
