Loch Stiapabhat, Isle of Lewis
A Quail was heard singing intermittently from the boardwalk to the hide this morning. Two male Ruff were also present

Steinish, Isle of Lewis
Three Curlew Sandpipers were seen there today

Loch Tormasad Beag, North Uist
A *Great White Egret * was reported as being present there today

Brevig, Barra
A Rose-coloured Starling was there this morning. A second bird was found at Borve in the afternoon

Breakfast was interrupted this morning when a Rose-coloured Starling appeared on our feeders. It flew off low to the north after a couple of minutes. Another Rosy was among the Startling flock on the machair near the cemetery at Borve mid afternoon. Given the numbers appearing around the country in the past 48 hours, there must be a good chance that others will join it in the coming days. A Garden Warbler was new in at Glen and small numbers of Siskins were seen around the island.
