Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 5th December 2019. Updated throughout the day

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
A 1+ hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Eider (S), 2 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 1 Red-throated Diver (S), 1 Black-throated Diver (S), 2 Great Northern Divers (S), 3 Gannets (S), 2 Shag (N) and 1 Cormorant (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 34, Wigeon 24, Tufted Duck 7, Great Northern Diver 1, Snipe 2
