The female ***Snowy Owl*** was again on the hills overlooking Village Bay
Butt of Lewis
A Snow Bunting was near the lighthouse before flying off to the south-west
Eoropie, Isle of Lewis
8 Lapland Buntings were on the machair to the north of the sports centre before flying south
Loch Boisedale, South Uist
The Rose-coloured Starling is still visiting a garden there mainly in the afternoons
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 07:25 - 10:05
Weather: Wind SE f5-6 gust f7. 8/8 cloud with light rain. Temp 12C.
A near 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 4 Eider (N), 2 Common Scoters (S), 2 Red-throated Divers (S), 1 Great Northern Diver (N), 203 Gannets (132S 71N), 4 Shag (N), 20 Kittiwakes (9S 11N), 2 Common Terns [juveniles] (S), 1 Great Skua (N), 5 Guillemots (S), 5 Razorbills (S) and 7 auk sp (5S 2N).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 59, Red-throated Diver 3, Black-headed Gull 1, Peregrine 1 and Meadow Pipit 3
