Aird an Runair, North Uist
A Sooty Shearwater and 30 Manx Shearwaters were seen there today

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 07:25 - 11:45
Weather: Wind W f5-6 veering WNW. Initially 8/8 cloud with showers, sunny spells later. Temp 12 - 14C.

A 4+ hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Red-throated Divers (S), 2 Leach's Petrels (S), 1 Fulmatr (S), 1 Manx Shearwater (S), 48 gannets (45S 3N), 5 Shag (S), 2 Cormorants (S), 1 Kittiwake (S), 3 Arctic Terns (S), 1 Great Skua (S), 1 Arctic Skua (S) and 1 auk sp (N).
Also present in the area were Mallard 4, Red-breasted Merganser 2, Red-throated Diver 2, Ringed Plover 60, Curlew 5, Bar-tailed Godwit 2, Turnstone 40, Sanderling 50, Dunlin 45, **White-rumped Sandpiper** 1 [in south bay] , Snipe 3, Black-headed Gull 1, Raven 4, Wheatear 1, White Wagtail 1, Pied Wagtail 4 and Meadow Pipit 12

Always Birding
A Pectoral Sandpiper and 4 Ruff were on a flooded area by Launch Site 3 on The Range this morning and circa 12 White Wagtails were at Ardivachar.

News from Tristan:-

Did a 2-hr seawatch at Labost yesterday (5th) lunchtime, wind WNW F5, overcast with reduced visibility:- Grey Phalarope 1, Sooty Shearwater 16, Bonxie 6, Arctic Skua 2 and Red-throated Diver 1

Returned to Labost this morning for a (disappointing) 3-hr seawatch, wind WNW veering NW F5, heavy showers at first:- Bonxie 4, Arctic Skua 4, Red-throated Diver 6 and Arctic Tern 1. Lots of Kittiwakes but, unlike yesterday, hardly any Manxies

Also two Lapland Buntings on Labost headland today.
