Balranald, North Uist
24 Snow Buntings were seen on the reserve including 3 that flew out to sea towards the Monachs. The white morph Snow Goose was at Aird an Runair and a drake Pintail was on Loch a' Roe. 7 Whooper Swans were on Loch na Reivil

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:40 - 10:30
Weather: Wind WSW f7 gust f9. 8/8 low cloud, murky out at sea. rain at times. Temp 6.1C - 7.4C.

A near 2 hour seawatch in difficult conditions produced 14 Eider (S), 1 Long-tailed Duck (S), 5 Red-throated Divers (S), 3 Great Northern Divers (S), 1 Gannet (S), 6 Shag (N), 1 Cormorant (S) and 12 Kittiwakes.
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 34, Wigeon 42, Teal 5, Tufted Duck 4, Red-breasted Merganser 1, Cormorant 18 and Hooded Crow 6
