Ardmore, South Uist
The juvenile ***Lesser Scaup*** was again seen on Loch an Daill this morning

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:20-11:10
Weather: Wind N f3, dull at first but some sunshine later. Temp 4-6c.

A near 3 hour seawatch produced 14 Pale-bellied Brent Geese (S), 6 Eider (4S 2N), 1 Long-tailed Dick (S), 17 Red-throated Divers (4S 13N), 3 Great Northern Divers (S), 140 Shag (9S 131N - mainly northerly early morning flights from roosts), and 4 Kittwakes (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 2, Wigeon 3, Teal 3, Tufted Duck 20, Great Northern Diver 2, Little Grebe 2, Cormorant 29, Curlew 8, Bar-tailed Godwit 39, Black-tailed Godwit 27, Purple Sandpiper 51, Redshank 18, Peregrine 1, and Rock Pipit 2
