A Pectoral Sandpiper was seen there early evening in a wet strip just beyond the last house

East Loch Ollay, South Uist
A Goldeneye was seen on the loch today

Askernish, South Uist
A *Great White Egret* flew south over the township this morning

Vatersay
A Quail was heard calling at the south end of the island this morning and again in the evening
