Seawatch at Aird an Rùnair this morning for a couple of hours (09.25-11.25 hours). Sunny intervals and showers and a NW wind F3-5. Eight Arctic Skuas flew N (including four together) and 19 Great Skuas (also including four together). Not much else was moving through but some 250 Barnacle Geese arrived from the S to join others on the headland and the five pale-breasted Brent Geese of the previous day were still present. Also nine Whimbrel appeared and there were two or three White Wagtails on the beach.

A quiet day at Ardivachar with a single Arctic Skua in the morning. The afternoon saw a steady trickle of Whimbrels, mainly ones and twos with the largest group of 21 - about 45 in total.
