St Kilda
A female ***Snowy Owl*** seen there this afternoon

Eoligarry, Barra
The *White-billed Diver* was still present today

Scarasta, Isle of Harris
5 Whimbrel were on the machair early this morning

Malacleit, North Uist
10 Little Terns were along the beach today. A Siskin and a Cuckoo were nearby in Ben Risary Plantation

Balranald, North Uist
31 Barnacle Geese and 2 pink-footed Geese flew north this morning. Circa 20 Whimbrel and numerous White Wagtails were also present.

South Glendale, South Uist
2 Common Redpolls were seen there today

Always Birding

There are still warblers passing through with 2 new Willow Warblers and 4 Chiffchaff ringed today here at Askernish. There are 3 very nervous Wood Pigeon in the township and Lesser Redpoll numbers have increased to 4. There is also a steady influx of Goldfinch with 14 new birds being ringed in the past few days joining the 17 that appear to have over-wintered.

A few more migrants were seen on Barra today. A tree pipit flew north at Brevig this afternoon and 9 pale-bellied brent geese were in the bay there. 5 whimbrels came in off the sea at Earsary this evening. Several sedge warblers were present around the island and a house martin was seen at Grean. A pair of gadwall (scarce here) were at Bolnabodach.

Cuckoos at Lasgair and Kyles Stuley
Common Sands at Lasgair, Loch Stulaval (2) and Kyles Stuley. Also one on the loch by my house at Bornish this eve.
2 swallows flew north along the coast at Kyles Stuley
male ring ouzel and a whinchat in Glen Noustapal.
