During a 2 hour sea watch this morning 27 Gannet (39S 8N), 44 Kittiwake, 28 Puffin (23S 5N) and a Great Skua were seen. Also present were 5 Whimbrel, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 7 Wheatear, 3 White Wagtails and a single Pale-bellied Brent Goose
Loch Branahuie, Storoway, Lewis
283 Long-tailed Ducks were on the loch today
North Locheynort, South Uist
A Blackcap, Chiffchaff, 2 Siskins and at least 4 Common Redpolls seen today

The Green-winged Teal and pair of Gadwall at Fivepenny; two Barn Swallows at the Butt; the male Snow Bunting in my garden in Port of Ness.
New arrivals
A Bar-tailed Godwit near the Butt lighthouse, and three Snow Buntings along the cliffs; the first Arctic Tern at Skigersta and three at Port of Ness.
