An exceptionally early house martin was flying around Earsary, Barra this morning. No sign of any wheatears or chiffchaffs yet. 3 Iceland gulls and 27 brent geese were still on Traigh Mhor.

Bruce, this is our earliest ever House Martin. Previous earliest was the 20th in 2009 (at Grenitote) while the only other March birds were on 27th in 2015 (two at Garrabost, Lewis).
