The Harlequin reappeared this morning in the same spot where we last saw it on 1st, just south of Traigh Eais. We haven't seen it in the interim despite regularly checking the site. This afternoon it had moved a few hundred metres west and was feeding tight in to the base of the cliffs in the entrance to a sea cave roughly half way between Traigh Eais and Cleat, visible very distantly through a telescope from Cleat. The 2 European White-fronted Geese were still at Cleat. The remains of another Little Auk were at Traigh Eais.
