Some three hours of seawatching (am) produced 2 Sooty Shearwaters E-W and little else.
Borve
Flocks of 50, 90 and 110 Pink-footed Geese came in from NW & passed over Borve heading SE in the afternoon
Loch Shiabost (at Shawbost, c20 m SW of The Butt)
An adult *American Golden Plover* found by John Wozencroft in mid-afternoon with Golden Plovers, on a rocky seaweed-strewn part of the beach at the end of the track signed ‘To the shore’ (Map Ref NB 258 478). The bird was still there when I left at 6.00 pm. [Record shot below]
